The 2023 Willamette Valley Classique Pinot Noir represents the heart of our winemaking philosophy—capturing the essence of Oregon’s North Willamette Valley on a broad scale. Sourced from Lange Estate, Freedom Hill, and Yamhill Vineyards, this wine reflects the diverse soils and microclimates of the region. Designed to be fruit-forward, expressive, and immediately approachable, the Classique series also carries the depth and structure to age gracefully, embodying 38 years of palate-driven, site-specific winemaking.
TASTING NOTES
The 2023 Classique Pinot Noir opens with marionberry, blackberry, and plum, lifted by delicate red fruit accents. On the palate, fine-grained tannins create a round, vibrant mouthfeel, while layers of dark fruit linger on a mineral-driven finish. Supple, balanced, and precocious, this vintage shows remarkable finesse and drinkability upon release.
